Our mission

At Pahadan’s Guild, our mission is to empower rural Himachali women and communities by creating meaningful livelihoods rooted in their traditional skills and culture. Through our Textile Tourism Villages and sustainable fashion brand, we blend tourism, craft, and community to offer experiences and products that are authentic, responsible, and story-driven. Every stay, every product, and every collaboration is designed to bring dignity, recognition, and sustainable income to the artisans and families of Himachal.

Our vision

Our vision is to transform rural Himachal into a global hub for textile tourism and responsible fashion. We aspire to build an ecosystem where villages become centers of creativity, where artisans and women are celebrated as changemakers, and where every visitor or customer becomes part of a story of sustainability and empowerment. In the coming years, we aim to replicate this model across multiple regions, setting a benchmark for community-led, sustainable development in India and inspiring the world with a new way of connecting tourism, fashion, and humanity.

Our Team

Pahadan’s Guild is led by Praveen Verma with a dedicated core team, and strengthened by 600+ women artisans across Himachal. Together with our volunteers and partners, we work as one family to build a movement of textile tourism and sustainable fashion.
