Each shawl is handwoven to order and ships within 21 days.

Soft, light and quietly elegant, this shawl is woven on a traditional handloom in a warm natural cream with a gentle flecked texture. At each end, three red pattis (woven bands) rise from a broad decorative border, framing the shawl in rich colour. The bands carry traditional Kinnauri geometric motifs in royal blue, white, orange and leaf green, a design language passed down through generations of weavers in the high valleys of Himachal.

The motifs are not printed or embroidered. They are woven into the fabric thread by thread, which is why a single shawl takes days of patient work at the loom. Small scattered motifs across the cream body tie the borders together, and hand-knotted fringes finish both ends.

Wrap it over a kurta, drape it across a winter coat, or pull it close on a crisp morning in the hills. The cream base lets the red borders glow, making it just as lovely for a wedding or festival as for everyday wear. Every shawl is made by the women artisans of Pahadan’s, and each one carries small natural variations, the mark of true handwork.

Fit & Feel
Generously sized and fluid, it drapes softly and wraps snugly without feeling heavy. The textured twill weave is gentle against the skin and warm enough for real Himalayan winters.

90% merino sheep wool. Handwoven on a traditional handloom with intricate Kinnauri 3 patti borders and hand-knotted fringes. Dry clean recommended; store folded in a cloth bag.

One size: approximately Length 88 inches and width 38 Inches, excluding fringes. Slight variation of ±1–2 cm is natural in handwoven pieces.
