Kullu Patti Shawl – Brown

Each shawl is handwoven to order and ships within 21 days.

Warm, earthy and timeless, this shawl is woven on a traditional handloom in a rich mocha brown. At each end, red pattis(woven bands) carry the classic Kullu chevron and diamond patterns in orange, green, black and white, framed by fine striped lines. A slim red twisted edging runs along the sides, a signature detail of Kullu weaving, adding a neat pop of colour to the brown base.

The patterns are not printed or embroidered. They are woven into the fabric thread by thread, which is why a single shawl takes days of patient work at the loom. Both ends are finished with hand-knotted fringes in matching brown.

Wrap it over a kurta, drape it across a coat, or throw it over a simple dress for an evening walk in the hills. The muted brown lets the bright Kullu border shine, so it works as well for everyday wear as for festivals and family gatherings. Every shawl is made by the women artisans of Pahadan’s, and each one carries small natural variations, the mark of true handwork.

Fit & Feel
Generously sized and fluid, it drapes softly and wraps snugly without feeling heavy. Smooth against the skin and warm enough for real Himalayan winters.
