The Pahadan’s Vest is a graceful expression of Himachali heritage blended with easy, contemporary style. Handcrafted by skilled women artisans from the Himalayas, it is made from a soft handwoven fabric with a fine diagonal twill weave, and finished with a slim Himachali patti along the angled hem. The patti is worked in bright pink and orange motifs and ends in long maroon fringes, so the piece carries the colours and patterns of Himachal’s age-old weaving traditions.

The rich maroon colourway brings warmth and depth to the look, inspired by wild mountain berries, temple doors, and cosy winter evenings by the fire. This is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and once it’s gone it won’t be made again in exactly the same way.

Designed with an open front and an angled fringed hem, it layers easily over sweaters, kurtas, shirts and tees. It’s ideal for travel, festive gatherings, everyday winter styling, and gifting a piece of the mountains.
