The Pahadan’s Vest is a calm, earthy expression of Himachali heritage blended with easy, contemporary style. Handcrafted by skilled women artisans from the Himalayas, it is made from a soft handwoven fabric in natural grey with a subtle woven texture, and finished with a striped Himachali patti along the V-shaped hem. The patti’s fine stripes in navy, blue, red and ivory end in long grey fringes, so the piece carries the colours and patterns of Himachal’s age-old weaving traditions.

The natural grey colourway gives the vest a rugged, timeless character, inspired by mountain mist, river stones, and the undyed wool of shepherds’ shawls. Only two pieces have been made, and once they’re gone they won’t be made again in exactly the same way.

Designed with an open front and a V-shaped fringed hem, it layers easily over sweaters, kurtas, shirts and tees. It’s ideal for travel, mountain walks, everyday winter styling, and gifting a piece of the hills.
