The Pahadan’s Vest is a rich, earthy expression of Himachali heritage blended with easy, contemporary style. Handcrafted by skilled women artisans from the Himalayas, it is made from a soft handwoven fabric in a plum herringbone weave flecked with hints of green, and finished with a traditional Himachali patti along the angled hem. The patti’s geometric floral motifs in orange, green, ivory and black end in vibrant magenta fringes, so the piece carries the colours and patterns of Himachal’s age-old weaving traditions.

The deep plum colourway with its speckled texture brings warmth and quiet depth to the look, inspired by wild mountain plums, autumn hillsides, and the colourful handloom shawls of Kullu valley. This is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and once it’s gone it won’t be made again in exactly the same way.

Designed with an open front and an angled fringed hem, it layers easily over sweaters, kurtas, shirts and tees. It’s ideal for travel, festive gatherings, everyday winter styling, and gifting a piece of the mountains.
